STOP TURNING THREADS ON HERE INTO "SMACK TALK" THREADS!!!
Guys, I'm serious!

There have been many instances on here where a few take things too far with what they say about a particular school (whether they disagree with the opinions of the fans from another school(s) or they just plain don't like other school(s)) that it eventually turns the thread into a thread of a bunch of smack talk and pissing matches; this consequently forces the moderators of the C-USA forum to move the thread into the "CUSA Smack Talk" sub-forum.

THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!

If you don't like a particular school and/or don't like reading the opinions of the fans from another school (or whatever reason it may be), that's fine, you're entitled to think however you want. However, that doesn't justify writing hateful and harsh comments in threads about a school and its fans so thus turning the nature of a thread into a smack talk-like environment. So guys, stop it! Conference USA is what it is for the time being so just get used to seeing your C-USA brethren post on here.

Smack talk is not necessary in this forum!

If you want to talk smack, go to the "CUSA Smack Talk" sub-forum and start a thread on there and talk as much smack as you want but don't come into this forum (i.e. the main C-USA forum) and turn existing threads on here into threads with smack talk-like behavior; that doesn't need to happen.

Easy, Sparky. It's a college football board. You are going to get differences of opinion and some smack. It should go to the smack board when the thread goes too far, not when there is a little smack. You just got to 1A (BCS subdivision...whatever it is this year). Go sit in the corner and grab me a beer on the way.

Nice try but I think out 12 years in 1A and several bowl appearance garners me some leeway. Now go wash that nasty towel you like to spin overhead and grab me a beer. (you see, Sparky...smack).07-coffee3

These forums should be treated as all of us going to a sports bar, some having too much to drink and others keeping it moderate and of course......some hot sports opinions that would spring from such an environment.

It's ex jocks or "would be" ex jocks talk on these forums for heaven's sake! I have found this board to be very informative and I just take all the other with the grain of salt. If I ever dish it out I should expect to be able to handle those who would dish it back. It's all sorta' like, uh, life?

I wish we could all hold hands and sing Kum Bah Yah but listen to me now.......our schools will soon be on the intercollegiate fields of battle and that is just likely not going to happen even during the off season on any forum. Some smack is funny while others are not and most know how to distinguish the difference.

You think a little arguing is bad? You should of been here the week the original group leaving made news and were waiting around for Boise State to announce so they could piggy back with the Broncos and share their media spotlight.

It's off-season.

Nothing wrong with some "Ha, we beat you last year", or "bring me a beer (or a bucket of chicken, for that matter)".

Smack forum is for those threads that turn into "You suck.."," No, YOU suck...", "No, you and your dog suck...", and so on. Oh, and smack forum is also for the never-ending pissing contest threads..... You know, SJ's craft.
