So looks like next week Tulsa makes official announcment, wonder how long it will take CUSA to annonce team replacing Tulsa?

And SBC is unbalanced again before its even balanced.

CUSA didn't delay when adding MTSU & FAU after ECU & Tulane left. If everyone is agreed on WKU as is beleived then it'll probably be soon.

Did the SB not have any idea about Tulsa being gone, they had to know this as its been talked about for months...So I guess SB knew this was coming and has a backup plan apparently for another add...Will be intresting to see how long this takes and what SB counters with?

App St, GS, NMSU, and Idaho, welcome to the world that is Mr. Peanut aka Karl Benson.

Idaho and NMSU have both already worked with Benson, so none of this should surprise them.

It will need to be fairly soon so we can get our notice in to the SBC offices. Sooner the better helps for recruitment, fundraising, ticket sales, etc.

I'll be surprised if WKU hasn't been announced by this time next week.

Well the one thing is that KB said that invitations have not been sent to Idaho or NMSU per reports request and so we'll if their is any effect to this.

I am sure this has been longer in the works than anyone here knows..And if they are surprised by Tulsa being gone and us being next then their head was stuck in the sand or Benson was in a cave since Nov...This has been circulating since Nov. this was giong to happen, first part happened, now we will see the second move...I am sure Benson has liberty and james madison on speed dial when next move comes down, if he does not, than he is not a very smart man...

What if Benson could secure the SBC a better TV $ contract than CUSA, would that sway anyone from leaving? Is "prestige" in a pecking order that is no longer relevant that important? Tit for tat we stack up pretty darn well against them:

Well...sort of. I know the Idaho SBOE is meeting regarding an SB invite. Perhaps the Idaho invite was to protect the conference if CUSA goes for 3 schools (WKU, Ark St. and Louisana). That'll still give the SB 9 fb teams and with NMSU a full member, 10 teams for oly sports.
