Apparently Syracuse got a letter from the NCAA enforcement office today.

I see the NCAA has swift justice! or not...

It's, apparently, never going to end for Syracuse basketball.

The more schools get investigated and realignment continues the more it looks like the break from the NCAA is going to happen. I hope it does. The NCAA is as corrupt as they come.

You know who runs the NCAA right? You know who writes the rule book? It's the schools themselves. You think the presidents will just walk away from the NCAA and NOT put rules in place? C'mon that's just silly.

Yet when the NCAA tries to relax the rules, the schools (even the big ones) say they don't want them relaxed. For example, the requests today to override the unlimited calls & texts rule and all the requests to have the Board of Directors suspend the rule allowing non-coaching staff to recruit electronically.

I'd say this makes it more likely that Boeheim leaves after this year. The way he's talked a lot recently- it just seems inevitable.

I also notice that every sports outlet - except the world leader - has a story on this...

A. I doubt they've done anything that everyone else isn't doing.
B. I doubt it becomes NCAA will actually do anything significant.

Pete Thamel is tweeting that it is from the Bernie Fine accusations and that they failed to contact the proper authorities while taking four months to investigate the accusations themselves.

After Penn St., they have to come down really hard if Thamel is right. Otherwise they undermine their Penn St. case.

But the CBS report says it has nothing to do with Fine.

Well, as we all have known, when Boeheim goes, there goes the program. I mean a resounding "THERE GOES THE PROGRAM".

According to reports, you can throw a dart at the NCAA rulebook and hit a violation by Syracuse. That would lead me to believe that this has very little to do with the Bernie Fine investigation. While that may be a part of it, it's by no means all of it...

Great, Cuse in trouble, so some mid major will get the book thrown at them.
