On behalf of a whole lot of fans of AAC schools, I apologize for the actions of "BEHomer" and "CougarKing" and "savacool." They are jerks on our own boards, they are jerks over here. None of them root for UConn and yet they try to own UConn's accomplishments for their own. Heck, savacool's professed school, Tulane, isn't even IN the AAC yet...

They think they are being "good fans," but in fact all they are doing is making the AAC look crappy.

x2. I usually peruse the boards over here to see if there is anything of interest going on... but not to just come here to gloat and talk smack. It is embarrassing and shows their true character. Obviously the 3 guys have little man's syndrome.

As a UCONN fan, I don't have any ill will toward the C7/NBE.

I'm hoping we can schedule some future OOC games.

Notice the fans of AAC schools that are over here talking smack have accomplished nothing. They take credit for others success.

I for one will always continue to root for the Big East. So grateful we were apart of something that special

I refuse to smack talk the C7/NBE. We had great rivalries with many of the schools and I would love to schedule OOC games with GTown, Nova, St. John's, and Providence (beers at Trinity Brewhouse in Providence before the game is always a blast).

I don't approve of people using UConn's championships this season as a tool to heckle our old conference mates. As a UConn fan, I still have respect and fond memories of these schools and their fans.

To the recent posters that have wished us well, we wish the same to you, and to the posters that have apologized for comments on the AAC board, while the sentiments are appreciated, there's absolutely no need to worry about them. Sometimes you have to consider the source. The nerdy kid from Temple, that uses "Big East" in his screen name, for some bizarre reason, is totally irrelevant. I assume he's a kid, because I can't believe any adult could be such a total zero that he'd be that consumed with trying to get under peoples skin. But it doesn't matter a bit what he writes, it's just noise. No one cares. As far as some of our other former conference mates go, while I didn't always agree with what was written here, I was happy to participate in the give and take, and that was what made these boards an interesting and entertaining place at one time. To the Louisville fans, you were a great addition to the BE and many of the best moments in the conferences legacy were due to you. I'm sure you still have many big moments ahead of you. To UCONN and Cincinnati, you were both major reasons why the BE was the best basketball conference in history. Your contributions will not be forgotten. I'll have to admit although I rooted for UCONN, it hurt to see you win another title with players that had all been recruited to play in the BE. Wish we could have added that title to our name. But as far as UCONN and Cincinnati go, you're both too good to stay where you are for long. Your get out of jail card should be arriving soon. So to sum it up, good luck to all of you, and don't worry about the noise on the other board. Doesn't matter a bit.

Great post. I have always and will forever be a Big East fan. So thankful to that league for giving us an invitation. Great memories even if it was only or a few years

Well hoops22 that uconn and cincy are to good to bewhere you are comment is the reason why aac fans enjoy rubbing your noses in your own mess. You were/are very arrogant toward us newbies from the moment realinment started. Although the aac is proving to be better than the nbe hands down. I wish you all no ill will, but when you guyscontinue to toss heat at us you can expect some to come back at you.

But the AAC folks (like yourself) are the ones that came to the BE Board to toss heat. UConn repped the AAC no doubt but at the end of the day even with the lack of TV coverage and terrible showing in the Dance, BE teams still make more money than the AAC teams except for USF, UConn, and UC.

Surely you are joking. You know that the aac board is full of nbe fans and yourself included thowing opinions and heat all over our boards. It is crazy how they whine about us trolling them when we cannot get through a single thread without their trolls. Well anyway I wish the nbe best of luck, no hard feelings on my part. I have never gloated or insulted you guys on you're board, anyway the real culptit is the p5 cartel that has created this dog eat dog scenario.
