It's just the way we play. I don't like it, but have become accustomed to it. If it's not a transition, and fast break game, we will continue to do this.

Teams are learning not to run with us. They only send 1 offensive rebounder, and they play zone. That's a tough recipe to run against...

I'm not gonna read too much into this game. ECU wasn't as bad as 39-12, at some point some shots were gonna fall.

Kemp got an easy basket and went on a spurt at the end of the half. Carried over to the second half. ECU got hot from 3, played good D and caught up.

Oops, my bad. ECU 9-21 from 3... still pretty impressive...

This ECU team lost AT North Carolina by 6. UNC had a 16 point lead at half and let ECU back in the game to get within 4 pts for much of the second half. They can shoot, obviously, and that keeps them in games. Chill out.

1. East Carolina went crazy from three point land and made a game of it against Big East-bound Memphis at FedEx Forum.

2. Memphis' came close to starting off 0-1 in a cupcake-filled C-USA league opener.

Quiz

Which one will Jeff Goodman use for his opening line? Jeff Calkins?
What about Mimi? Cobra Whineburger?

Yep, in that crowd, #2 takes it 3-1.

There are some other examples from their schedule not quite so flattering. Get real

Going crazy from the 3 point line against the Tigers is becoming old news.

Some of those 3s were very Deep...Cant really do much about that...But you can hustle through Baseline screens better and quit taking so many risks playing defense (going for headfakes and Reaching for Steals)

ECU also lost at home to something called Campbell.

You poor basterds.

We dominated, we got bored, and we will learn from our mistakes.

All that I could do was listen but it seem to turn late in the 2nd half when Wilson came in and threw up a brick and then he had two quick turn overs and then they have a 21 -0 run? I haven't watched the game yet.

It was 39-12, Tigers with about 2 minutes left in the half. ECU finished the half on a 7-0 run. Then they came out and went on a 14-0 run (maybe it was 15-0) to start the second half.
