Well if the Colorado move is off, the next few hours will be hugely telling. Either there will be some conference with a renewed commitment to UC or if radio silence it is probably smart to assume he's now looking at other gigs. What a complete soap opera.

Honestly, if he's going to keep looking and checking out places like Tennessee and Wisconsin then just ask him if he would be open to a mutual release. We don't want to pay out his contract but its clear he doesn't want to be here. The players certainly don't deserve it and neither do the fans or administration.

Yep. Have let myself get too wrapped up......this trumps BK thing by miles given how it's drawing out. Wake me up when it's over. I'm done.

If he does stay it's going to be hard to get behind him going forward. He'll just be looking again next year.

Any flights going to/from Lunken and TN/WI? Or Middletown for that matter...?

If he does stay I'd like to see him commit. Give him the highest salary you can but also make his buyout the exact same as contract. If he makes 2.5 per for 4 years then his buyout should be 10 mil the first year and decrease by 2.5 each year after.

Does MU-Middletown have a vacant coaching position? Club hockey? It has to be higher on the prestige-o-meter than football coach at CU.

One of my coworkers is a grad student there, I'll ask him to keep his eyes peeled for CBJ.
