Four On Campus Stadium related questions?
Would UABs in state recruiting improve if UAB had a new on campus stadium?
Would U of As in state recruiting suffer if UAB had a new on campus stadium?
Would UAB win more games and increase attendance if UAB had a new on campus stadium?
Would U of A win fewer games if UAB signed several in state recruits that U of A would have, otherwise, signed if UAB did not have a new on campus stadium?

RE: Four On Campus Stadium related questions?
If TheGORILLA posts a thread about a UAB football stadium and nobody reads it does it make a sound?

RE: Four On Campus Stadium related questions?
The answer to these questions isn't important. What is important is that many years ago the ole' drunken bahr deemed UAB a potential threat to the red elephant cult and to this day his worshippers retain this mindset. Lots of important people eventually dieing from cirrhosis isn't even going to help because I am seeing signs of this being passed down from bammers to their 3rd grade children at my son's school.

This is very true. The other day a 5 year kid saw me in my UAB shirt. He gave me a disgusted look, and said "UAB? I would never go for them." I asked him why. All he could say back was I don't know.

I have a student named Crimson- no joke. I keep telling her that she was supposed to be an Auburn fan.

RE: Four On Campus Stadium related questions?
These questions presuppose that recruiting instate is going to remain of substantial value to BCS schools in the later years of this decade. The declining number of nationally competitive athletic programs among the 133 district's high schools in Alabama has been acknowledged by the pattern of recent recruitment by AU & UA. In the past two years, both have signed fewer instate players and then primarily from various suburban high schools with their better (locally) financed programs. Remember that NO STATE has cut its per pupil funding since 2008 by as much as Alabama - by almost $1400 per pupil - and we were almost at the bottom in 2008. Athletic programs are expensive and if a school lacks tax support or a well heeled "booster club", its programs will suffer decline over time. It will be very instructive to see exactly what instate players the UA signs in Feb.2013 (since we don't presently know the coach at AU and how desperate he might be).

RE: Four On Campus Stadium related questions?
Everybody know that jr is stopping UAB to have an on campus stadium .
We were able to get 2 promising coach for the 2 majors because the bot representatives look so dealing with the aftermath of the rejection of this ocs
The only good thing with UAB be snub by the big least will be this scenario
UAB will eventually win in football and basketball and the campus will be build (you already know whY) AND UAB will be part of the ACC

The board of Trustees will have UAB's academic admission standards beaten down to below the Juco level before they allow that to happen. If UAB is not an academically elite University, then the ACC would have to hold it's collective snobbish noses even moreso than they are having to do for Louisville. And I don't see that happening.

1-Yes! 2-I don't think so, but their massive egos won't allow for any legit competition around here. 3-Attendance? Oh, hell yeah! To get away from Legion Field at last???! It would be the hottest ticket in Birmingham, and these bast***s don't want UAB to have that kind of environment. Win more games? No guarantee there (see Akron), but I think it will instill a sense of empowerment and confidence a true homefield advantage brings to a team and its' fan base, which Legion Field clearly does not, & NEVER (BLEEPING) WILL!. "ahem"...So for the sake of your intriguing question, I will go out on a limb and say yes! 4- I hope the **** so!!!! ;-)
