Aside from that, congrats on moving to CUSA. I thought you should have been selected last time.
I believe we've beaten you guys more than once since 2007. Also, not all of those years were epic years for us either. Stop with the excuses and just say "Good games" and move on.
Reading comprehension...work on it. I never said you only beat us once. Have I made excuses? Didn't think so. Since 2007, pretty much everybody beat our ass.
Anyway, enjoy CUSA. It's a lot of good fans...and be sure to mention that El Paso is an awful place for a conference tournament because its too far from anything...except Juarez, the murder capital of the world. UTEP fans love that discussion.
Which "epic low point?" I suppose you are counting the last 5 years as one "point?" Writing well...work on it.

Oh no, I'm not writing long eloquent articles on my phone. I'm a terrible person.
I've tried congratulating you several times on the move...but I guess you don't care. Hell, I was on here pimping you guys to be our replacement.

RE: MTSU General Info Thread
Our football tailgating scene is pretty unique. We have two major tailgating areas. Walnut Grove is located in the middle of campus and is where most students tailgate before games. RV Row sits on the other side of the stadium and hosts most of the big time fans and donors, along with the world famous Hillbilly Hilton.
I'll have a few beers for any of you CUSA fans that make it down for a game.
Walnut Grove or "The Grove"

I'm sure some other MT fans have some better pictures. These are ones I found quickly.

Really is a great gameday experience in the boro on Saturdays...stuff for kids and the tailgater that likes to lubricate themselves.

That looks fantastic- especially "The Grove." Maybe I'll be able to make a trip out there and see it first hand in a couple of years.

Seemed like a 2 sided stadium without the ends.
The last time you played in Murfreesboro(95) was just before the last major renovation(97). That was when the stadium was last expanded. We've seen a lot of renovations and upgrades in the last seven or so years, new video board/scoreboard, field turf, new club level, some exterior improvements(replacing chain link fence), some interior improvements(locker rooms, etc) I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but the stadium looks much different now than it did in 2005, I'm not 100% sure what it even looked like in 1995(I was 12 and had never heard of Middle Tennessee) but I know it would be almost unrecognizable to what it is today.

The stadium is in the same spot. It was two sided then. The pressbox side will be the same as '95(freshman year) everything else was leveled and rebuit as a closed stadium. There are things I like and don't like about it. On mid major scale of 1-10 it is probably a 6 or 7. The aluminum can be a little cheap looking but I like that is is enclosed. I love our Open Air Boxes though. Every stadium should have them. They are by no means luxury suites but you get some perks(TV, Booze room for kids to move) but you are also out in the crowd and close to the action. They're also affordable. My half of the one I share is cheaper than Titan season tix. Be sure you visit one when you are here. One of fans refer to them as the Crown Jewel of the stadium and I agree.

Glad to be in C-USA. However, I am hoping for WKU to receive and accept an invitation soon. I just hate to leave that rivalry behind.
Definitely can't wait to show off our campus to those who have never visited. See y'all in 2014!

We started a five game series with Memphis in 2007 (no game in '08). Through five games, we're 4-1. The only other CUSA team we've played in the last 6 or so years is Southern Miss in the 2009 New Orleans Bowl. Won that also.
Don't care if some Marshall fans aren't impressed. They'll get theirs just like they did last year in the NIT.
I for one am happy you are here... congrats!!!!
Looking forward to a trip to Marshall. Straight-up interstate, too.
May have to bring the pull-behind camper.
