He has the guts to post after he makes the remarks on air and when he does not get a response, after him or his cohost bark out that they dont want to hear from UAB fans on whatever issue on air, he goes to the board to drum (troll) up some repsonse.

I will say I went back and looked at some of your old post and you havent posted any flames on here as fas as I can tell. But sometimes its the guilty conscious that has to speak out for past wrongs. real or perceived.

It's not that I don't care. It's that I have better things to do than to call in to any sports radio show in this city. There was a time that I listened, but that time is over. The only sports radio show I pay any attention to is Tim Brando which is no longer featured in Birmingham. I show that I care by being a season ticket holder and a Blazer Booster. Plenty of UAB fans have shown more than once that they care about this program by calling into programs such as yours.

I am a season ticket holder and a Blazer Booster as well. I went back for another season of marching band after I graduated. I drummed at the basketball game the other night, and I'm not even a student anymore. Somehow, listening to a late night weeknight show on a garbage radio station on a **** frequency that won't be on the air in six months doesn't feel like it's on the same level.

Mark of weak radio talent: Hey, let's open up the phones and let other people provide the content for our show, because we ran out of talking points after the first segment.

Yeah. It's not that I don't care about UAB. It's that I don't care about local sports talk radio.

What irks me about his comments and others in the media is that they are so uninformed. To ask the question why we didn't have a better crowd at the Memphis game is so freaking obvious that its unreal. Look at the history, under WB we'd be playing for a bowl bid until the very end, we'd lose of course and go 5-6 or 5-7. The Callaway years... RESEARCH that. How he was hired, why he was retained for so long. Don't want to do that... Because it takes effort, or it might uncover the real truths about our BOT. It's so much easier to take cheap shots than to do real research. A Loser of a coach was forced on us for 5 years and he thinks the attendance will be fixed in one year, a year where we have still only won 3 games. If we were 6-4 heading into that game and attendance was that bad, I'd agree. Also, because of our over sized stadium there is no urgency to buy season tickets. Season ticket holders will show up for most part. But people who are just wanting to flame, won't bother looking at the circumstances.

I have to agree. He is man enough to post even if it is not what you want to hear and most do not really know what was said or how it was used.

After last Saturday, I was nearly ready to drop football. And I am a football only guy.

If it were a tv show instead of a radio show, we probably would be able to see the "Excuse me I am a trainee" buttons.

Either there aren't any syndicated radio shows that time of night or it costs too much to justify syndicating at that time of night for the number of listeners. Hence, the cheapest alternative is selected.
