So the Big East Tourney MVP and West Region MOP isn't in the top 10? OK lol

I loved his development last year but that represents about 8 games of basketball.

Yeah but he wasn't chopped liver before that either.

Um, isn't he #1 on the list? It was Siva, right?

Nope, Behannan

No "BEHanimal" wasn't but RP dogged him most of the year for not being in shape, right?? He still has a lot to prove is what I'm saying, not that he's not capable.

I stand corrected. He was still MOP in the West and All Tourney in the BET.

Nope, Behannan

Siva was BET MVP, not Behanan. Siva is #1 on the list. Behanan was West Region MOP and is #4 on the list. They're both there.

I know they're there. I'm arguing against those who say he doesn't belong on the list.

Gotcha. Anyone saying he doesn't belong is just being silly. 04-cheers

No silly is saying someone doesn't have an argument because they're not basing their opinion on being a top 10 player in the league on 8 or so post season games. 04-cheers

I understand you not getting the importance of post-season basketball performance though. Being an RU and Seton Hall fan and all 03-wink

The point is Louisville is being hyped way too much a lot like UConn was last year. Those great post season runs masked very average seasons.

This is the Big East we don't anoint players for 3 week stretches no matter what time of year. Kemba didn't win BE POY 2 years ago b/c he didn't do it to the same level in the league.

See you chumps at The Rock in January. 03-wink

I fondly refer to conference play as "The Gauntlet"...It's a battle every game, every year.

You seem pretty obsessed with this topic recently. Is UofL being overhyped, or are you just annoyed because you feel Cincinnati is ranked too low to start the year?

I don't think Louisville is as good as the other teams in the top tier (in the nation) nor do I think Siva was deserving of the preseason POY.

I think you'll be surprised. All reports thus far point to this team being ridiculously talented, deep and most importantly cohesive.

The cohesive part no one will know until this team gets punched in the mouth. Going into last year Uconn had all of the things you mentioned including not just a final 4 run the year before but a NC. But once they got punched in the mouth by UCF (& the NCAA cartel) they never got back up...

I think UofL will be very good this season, I just don't think any team has 4 of the best 10 players. Having 2 is a big accomplishment and to me there are to many great players in this conference for one team to dominate this list.
