UNT is trying to get away from using the tickets sold number and instead use butts in the seat.

Hmmm, that's different. At Troy we just walk in the student entrance and they scan our student ID card.

Yeah that's what FCS schools do. I originally went to SFA and they do theirs the same way. At North Texas you have to get your student ID scanned to get a ticket.

That only started last year Josh. The AD (and many others) feel that a ticket in hand that a student has to go get usually attaches more value to going into the game. It is a mental persuasion tactic....and it looks like it works since our students have not disappointed this year (alumni and walkins have)

I'm aware that it started last year. It's got a bigger purpose than what you've stated though.

La Tech, Tulane, Southern Miss and Rice would be easy trips wouldn't they?

Hey smiley, I don't know you and you don't know me.

You have no freaking idea what motivates me to do anything, either professionally or personally.

Just for the record, I do NOT work for the University. I've never gotten a paycheck from them. So your statement that I get paid to be a homer is bogus.

And, in my opinion, so were your attendance figures.

BTW I spoke with a couple of UNT employees on press level. They agreed on my 12-13000 statement.

And, I got a tour of your suites and club level. Very nice....but even if they were full, I don' t think you get to 17.
Champ,

I don't know if you are disputing getting paid or being called a homer. Does it matter where the money comes from?

I'll just leave this here:
Homer Call of the Week?

Keep posting. Cajun listeners appear to love you.

Toughguys pics speak louder than anything you or BOP say. The camera is not a homer. Hope C-doa fixes your attdce problem.... HAHA!

Z
Hah, keep up that hate. The reported attendance is really the only thing that counts. You, BOP and toughguy can keep looking at pictures and disputing whatever it is that gets you off.

I know right?? We are such meaniies when we point out the truth..

50's or 60's with the wind sounds warm to me! I sat in the rain while it was in the 40's for a EMU game, cold is no excuse for skipping out on your team. Also, SMU had worse attendance, no need to dog on UNT for the 17k? attendance.

Where you dressed in shorts and flip flops?

The forecasters had that morning called for a game in the 80s. Most of the crowd was prepared for that. The wind chill was very low.

Much colder than expected + terrible start = a big chunk of the crowd left at halftime.

Well now I can see your arguement, they announced rain wouldn't come till after the game so I didnt bring rain stuff or a change of clothes, and I can understand that arguement.
