I'm not saying you have to agree, but 2 or 3 games doesn't change several years. Your expectations may be met by Rudy going off 10-15 games per year and taking several games/possessions off. With his talent level and ability that disappoints me. That said, he was awesome last night in a great win for the grizz. This topic should be destroyed because it's going nowhere.

Rudy is the 7th best clutch shooter with 5 seconds or less in the 4th quarter or OT in the NBA since the 2000-01 season. Chew on that for awhile. Here's the link to the entire article if you're interested......

I recall the commentators during a recent game mention Rudy shoots about 65% in the last couple of mins of games.... I thought about this thread and the CA article blasting Rudy for missing one shot in consecutive games wherein TA and Dante tipped in the game winners.... what was funny is that Rudy had hit consecutive shots in each of those games to get the team to that point yet he still got blasted for finally missing a shot eventhough he is virtually clutch. People acts is though he's a robot and should make every thing or else trade him. Smh

RE: Why does Rudy get blasted............
I never questioned Rudy hitting shots in late game situations, his efficiency speaks to the praise I have constantly given him throughout his career regarding is talent/potential. My point is that with all the talent he has, he isn't the type of player that is going to carry a team like Durant, Kobe, etc, despite having a very similar skillset. There are games where the grizz need a go to scorer to stop a drought or an opposing run or whatever when an elite player would demand the ball. Rudy is not that type of player. You guys act like I'm saying Rudy is Matt Barnes or something. All I'm saying is that he has a similar game to the great players in the league yet he does less with it. He's a very good player. I'm glad he's on our team. He's not Kobe. He's on the next tier of guys which is fine. It just seems like he has more talent than what his game has produced. H'es similar to Danny Granger to me in that you just keep waiting for him to have a break out year and he doesn't do it. He just keeps putting up solid numbers but never takes the next step.

Rudy does it again for the grizz. TWO huge 3s in the waning moment to force OT.
