Huh?

A crowd of 5,000 could show up for this title game and every in attendance could have a BLAST...but that wasn't the topic of this thread...as the subject was...would a neutral site game played in NYC be good for the Big East...especially with new teams being located in Idaho, Colorado, TX (2) and additional one in FLA.

Fun factor?

Who doesn't have fun at football games, let alone BOWL games?

There are only 3 conferences in this country who can always count on being able to put a respectable crowd in a neutral site championship game. The Pac-12 was smart enough to realize that they aren't one of them. The Big East will hopefully come to the same valid conclusion if they are able to get to 12 members to hold a championship game.

I know conference title games are quirky shenanigans without value that are to be ignored in South Bend, but you do realize that the Big Ten has already booked Indianapolis as its championship game site for the foreseeable future, no? ;-)

You see, what you do is you claim that you are booking the stadium for the day before the Big Ten Title game, to give them sort of a warm up act. And then once you are in, you just hijack the stadium, lock the doors, and keep everyone else out. then you delay your game by 24 hours. And with Fox now without anything else to show, you force them to broadcast the BE title game in the Big Ten slot.

And that is how you draw an audience.

Needs to be at the highest seeds home stadium. Then you will always be close to a sell out.

I hate the South. I'd rather watch a football game in a blizzard than sweat my ass off in the South.

And that's why the BE is in the situation it is in. Have fun in the ACC.
