RE: STO
STO had several facts wrong. That is what they really need to shore up. This is not a student-run network. It shouldn't look like it. They had BG women winning the regular season title again, the score backwards a few times coming in and out of breaks. Because Galeti and Drennen don't follow the MAC, they had the players and teams backwards, but it is more than the MAC has ever had and basically is the same coverage some major conferences get for their tourneys.
I am not sure you can blame the MAC and STO for the blackouts. As OZoner said, that is in ESPN's hands and happens in most every conference. Weren't they farming games out to Comcast affiliates for games that involved the Michigan schools or NIU? I know Reghi made a point to mention on Thursday afternoon that Comcast picked up that game. Maybe they had conflicts on Friday.
As for Allie LaForce, she has cut her teeth. I believe she has been used on some of STO's Ohio High School state events, too, and I believe she hosts some sort of OU coaches show. I think I read that somewhere. I would like to see player interviews post-game next year.

RE: STO
not really many complaints from me except I was getting sick of seeing woody hayes face as "the pride of Ohio". They could have thrown a few of those together for MAC grads(like Chuck Ealey for example who is also from Portsmouth Ohio). There is really tons of people they could have done it on and it just kinda made me cringe every time I saw his face and just picturing him punching the player and that they were basically giving O-LIE-O state free advertising during the MAC tourney.

The STO production was really professional for what it is which is regional broadcasting.
I wish they would do more than like 2 football games for the MAC.
