For those who have been watching today, what do you think about their coverage? I like how they are fully embracing this - showing all the men's quarters and semi's, as well as the women's semi's and finals. In between the two men's sessions today they stayed on air talking about the games and what not. This is good coverage for the MAC and hopefully it keeps growing and growing.
STO is doing a terrific job. Glad they finally joined the MAC team.
Love listening to Reghi, remember him being the Sports Director on one of the TV stations in Toledo, plus Steve Mix is very knowledgable. The blonde is SMOKIN' HOT!!!

Great coverage, love the fact they are covering the men's tournament starting with the quarters and the women's with the semi's, maybe next year they will cover the women's quarters as well.
They want to do more games next year. This deal is a total home run.
I have Directv and the games on STO have been blacked-out where I am, lucky I was able to get a feed on ESPN3.
The sideline reporter was named Allie LaForce. She did an excellent job of knowing exactly what to ask Geno and Reggie and make followups that were insightful. Very impressive. The network sideline reporters should be so good.

And she was very easy on the eyes...
I thought that they did a very good job overall. It was nice to see the band a few times.

EDIT: The Chuck guy does a good job sounding excited.

Wasn't she on OU's WBB team?
Yes.

I have DirecTV and the games are blacked out on STO but picked up on the Full Court subscription package.

UB/KSU was on Full Court and available nationally to anyone who subscribes to that basketball package.
I have Directv too and it amazes me that they can black out channels that you pay extra for. Luckily I live in Ohio so STO doesn't get blacked out. I have had problems with college football games being blacked out for whatever reason they deem fit at that moment in time.

Lawsuit, lawsuit....

I agree that we pay for the sports channels yet they can package much of the content as part of packages (e.g., college FB, college hoops, NBA, NFL, MLB, etc.).

One should see my DirecTV bill 03-banghead NFL, MLB, College FB, College hoops).

But to get STO and the other sports channels I have to subscribe to the Sports Pack as a premium package. I am already paying for that channel, and I find it ridiculous that it gets blacked-out. Other tournament games on other channels were not blacked-out.

Exactly.
My guess is that they (they being ESPN) only allowed STO to show the games to viewers who are in-market for STO, then required ESPN3.com/Full Court. Regardless of whether you have sports pack. Believe this is no different than regular season football & basketball for the MAC, and no different than when the MAC was on Fox Sports Ohio.

Basically, they treated the MAC tournament like they would a pro sports game.
And as for Ms. LaForce
