The Bucks looked great today. I think we have our work cut out for us. How are we, or anybody for that matter, going to stop that run???? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

Texas Tech is over rated and we just have to play 1 play at a time; not get hung up on the hype, the crowd or the atmosphere. TT was intimidated. Will we?

Texas Tech may be overrated, but if that tailback gets in the open field you guys can forget it.
I just hope you guys keep the game close.

TT is a lower rung Big 12 team. I don't know how they even made it into that conference. They seem very C-USA. We should be able to compete at the same level as they did against the Bucks.

I will wait until we play that 1-aa power New Hampshire before making judgement. That will really be a good test in comparing us to Ohio A&M. One thing for sure,-- our quarterback will present a different look to them.

Actually Texas Tech was 7 & 5 last year and was supposed to be better this year since 17 starters were back from last year. They finished in the uppper tier of the middle of the pack teams in the Big 12. What kind of year is Kent expected to have this year? Regardless of what MAC team from Ohio we play, I expect them to be most fired up for the Buckeyes and expect that your team will lay it all on the line for this game which means Ohio State better be ready. Last year Akron played Purdue and tOSU but I read later in the Akron Beacon Journal that that kind of scheduling may have been a mistake since they sustained alot of injurys and banged up players. BTW: Maurice Clarett was named a starter only a few days before the game. The other guys (Hall Ross and the injured Ja Ja Riley) are about even along with being a bit faster than Clarett. Tressel will give all of them the ball as much as possible to try to keep them happy.

OH...we do too have minds. BTW: What's a mind? That's why I give to the OSU college fund. The mind. It's a terrible thing.

The Buck's did look good and confident. Thier big
freshman running back was a surprise; could
be a long afternoon at the line of scrimmage
for the Flashes.

I'll tell ya fellas...I will be rooting for Kent big time cuz of the MAC BUT, I was very impressed with the Buckeyes on Sat. Texas Tech is no slouch and is not overrated. I knew Clarrett was gonna be good but that was down right scary. And, with Ross and Hall in the mix, the Bucks look loaded for the next few years. When Cooper was running his circus in Columbus, I felt the Ohio MAC schools were closing the gap. Now, with Tressel and his solid coaching and recruiting, it looks like the Bucks will be a great team. I still feel the Ohio MAC schools (and MAC schools in general) are closing the gap on the "big boyz".
Falcons travel to Ohio State in 2003...will be our third crack at OSU in the last decade. BG did very well in 1992 losing 17-6 in a game the Falcons outplayed OSU. 6 turnovers did us in. In 1997, we lost 44-13 but trailed only 17-13 late in the first half until OSU's depth wore us down. With Ohio State, you MUST play hard and mistake free football for all 60 minutes to have a chance for victory.
The best to Kent in that game....
GO BG!! GO MAC!!

I have no doubt Kent is going to make this their biggist game of the season and will likely be difficult for the Buckeyes to put away. Alot of kids playing for the Ohio schools in the MAC grew up with the dream of playing for Ohio State. Some will feel snubbed because they were awfully good in highschool and all have something to prove to the people of Ohio and the coaches and players on the tOSU football team. I just hope Tressel will have prepared his kids for this because Kent shouldn't be taken lightly.

After the let down against Akron last year, I doubt that Tressel will let them lose focus. I expect him to thrash KSU if they can in order to prove a point to recruits, etc. about the difference between the MAC and tOSU. Tressel is classy, but will make his point to the team and the rest of Ohio who may have had doubts during the Cooper era and last year. I am sorry that KSU is the one that has to play them this year.
It will be at least 3 TDs.
