What an astute young man you are.

You might want to try reading a little more carefully. I'm fairly sure you could publicly mock down-syndrome kids and get less of hysterical and emotional reaction than you do with anything that deals with race as this does. Once the subject of mocking someone or bullying gets into the realm of race is when people seem to lose their minds.

And you're kidding yourself if you don't think what happened at Mizzou and the fallout from that ridiculous ****-show has a lot of college on edge and having them handling these situations more heavy-handed than is reasonable so they can virtue signal to the world that "hey look at us! we value diversity and inclusion!"

I'm glad this turd isn't going to continue to represent the school that I attended and continue to support with my hard earned money. Coach Lake being suspended for 4 matches tells me all I need to know about this event.

Good riddance.

Unless you were there or at the meetings, you don't know what happened. I'm pretty certain at 18-19 we were all provoked into saying something we shouldn't have. He who is without sin cast the first stone.

Case in point...

Come on, AppMan, this isn't the time for careful and thoughtful action. Something racist was said! There needs to be blood! BLOOD!

While I agree with a lot of what is being said here, a good rule of thumb is whatever you see on the internet is amplified 10x from what the actual reality is. Especially the frequency of which things happen. Everything is blown up and exaggerated.
