I'm not positive, but I think his point is that Houston had a decent year in football and is therefore on the same level as TCU and Utah.

I mean, TCU only won 11+ games in 6 of their 7 seasons in the MWC. 03-shhhh

How many 13 win seasons did they have? Houston has had multiple in the past handful of years. Damn right that's earning it. Memphis has done nothing.
