Fix for problem with Coleman/Costco tailgate canopy
I don't know how many of you bought the NIU tailgate canopy at Costco this summer but the one we bought had a problem. thnxjoenovak also had this problem with his canopy.
I found this to be quite disappointing because I expected more quality from Coleman.

The leg locking apparatus on 2 of the legs would not lock into place on the highest setting. It was because the button inside the leg was a little off & was not lining up with the hole. My husband fixed ours by removing the leg locking apparatus (there are small screws on it to get it off) and drilling out the hole so it is now larger & the silver button will now click into the hole. He said it was not a difficult or time consuming job to fix it.

For us, this was a much easier thing to do than jack around with trying to get Coleman to replace the frame. And there was also no guarantee that a different frame would not have the same problem now or even down the road.
