Bobby and Brian Scott are ******* retards when it comes to play calling. Nothing new there. Placing the blame on a 17 yr QB for that geez what a wuss/puss.
When will we quit hearing the 17 yr old excuse. He has played a half season now and has plent of game experience. Next year will it be he is only 18?
On an interesting sidenote I have a friend who was a head coach in the Big East for 10 years and he told me when recruiting receivers only 33% can catch a football in college mostly due to the physical contact. Totally blew me away with that statement as he was specifically referring to Duke but I can see it with our guys as well.

It's not just the coaches. Writers and announcers repeatedly bring up his age. That's what happens when you habe the youngest QB on college football.
And not sure I agree with 33% can't catch. If that were the case we should be seeing a lot more drops. That is a very specific number to put on a very subjective evaluation.

The blame on I believe the second 4th and 1 is on BW for calling time out. NT looks a little confused snap it and go, take advantage of that. The timeout gave them pause and based on our past they new what was calling.
Would someone explain to me how our OLine in a two point stand is going to get leverage on the DLine in three point stances for short yardage? The physics does not work for me. Little help guys.
I didn't catch that but if we were on 2 pt stances for short yardage that makes no sense. We should only do that for obvious passing downs.
Regarding the timeout, I believe that was the time we tried the pass. I think he wanted to prep SW for that but still they should have been prepared with a few options and not call the TO there. I'm OK with a pass there. It was actually a food play but the defender made a better play. He just barely tipped it and if he missed Vaughan was gone (hey that rhymes!).

The timeout was to review the call on the field on whether it was a first down, I believe.

Not necessarily as it may explain why some of these receivers we thought may contribute haven't seen the field. His words were typically 1 out of 3 could catch a college football as opposed to a percentage. He coached a very heavy pass oriented offense in college and was Matt Ryan's QB coach at BC after his head coaching gig.

+100. I’ve got a special needs daughter. There are plenty of other words in the English language to use.

Correct. Not a time out, it was a coach's challenge on the spot.
