I don't see that. Haven't seen him make many. Now, free throws, YES. Don't foul him. LOL
The other kid was their sharpshooter, Steven, but he's out, right?
Nope, Forte is 20-36 on the year, didn't play in our first game much.
While that is an excellent%, I'd say that being up 55pts, 53pts, 34pts, and 26pts,and him going against the other teams second string may have had something to do with those numbers. He was 17-27 in those games.
In the games where they were tested and won by 10 and 2, he went 3-9, or 33%.
He's never shot less than 33% in a game this season. It's safe to say that he's dangerous.
33% is not dangerous, especially when he won't get as many shots due to our athleticism. Now, if he were to shoot 60% on us, yes, then we can say he was "dangerous". LOL

Well, that's why I brought him up. Someone mentioned playing zone (effectively nullifying a lot of our athleticism) and I brought up Forte as a reason that isn't a great idea IMO. Dixon, Joe and Geron should be able to shut him down well in man to man.

He will get more minutes due to Clark being out. He is out, right?

Smart can get tired just like anyone else running up and down the court, but with all the timeout breaks, if his fatigue doesn't lead to foul trouble then he's going to stay on the floor and get his wind back.
Bollocks. Does KOBE get tired sure he does...but not before he kicks your ass. NBA players are the best in the world at their craft, they are driven by gifts most college players lack (mental toughness comes to mind). This dewd ain't getting "tired", especially after having a day off besides, when was the last time Memphis wore out a top team anyway?
RE: ***Official Memphis vs Oklahoma State Game Thread***
uhh, yeah, Memphis seems to bring out the best in opponents best players. i can't remember the last time a Pastner coached team actually held a best player at bay.

Yeah, stayed back in Stillwater I believe.
He traveled with them to South Florida, but got sent back home. Fore had the flu in our first meeting with them and couldn't run the court.

Stringer from LSU was averaging 18 pts a game coming into the game vs. Memphis....He had 2 pts....did a great job on O'Bryant too forcing him to commit 10 TO's....You're either blind or not very bright...troll harder

18 points per game against the likes of northwester state, new orleans, south easter louisiana & St. Josephs????

All joking aside, I've got to sign off for the day. Hope the tigers kick a$$ today. I'll see you (b)itches around 9 tonight to either overreact in celebration or overreact in meltdown.

Feel free to leave out a ranked UMASS team....
He's averaged double figured scoring since his freshman year at LSU

Going to start drinking now to be ready for 6:30. OKST should have lost to butler and smart had a decent game, have a great feeling about today. Either way, as long as we are competitive.
RE: ***Official Memphis vs Oklahoma State Game Thread***
Starting early today are we? Well redemption time....or what should be redemption time. I guess we'll see if we've really improved since last game or if Josh actually has taken enough control to run a more structured offense and finally make in game adjustments.
Smart has been good since we played him but not as good as we made him look and also I think his last game was a human looking statline.
If we make him look once again like he did the first game against us we mos' def' then will know its more us than him.
