Not really. They're a top 5 program so they are filled with bandwagon fans. Most Louisianians have nothing against them, so they cheer for them. They have a lot of diehards, obviously, but not as advertised.
If you win you'll get lots of bandwagoners and awake your fans out of their comas.

How accurate is that list? Have they been lying to the NCAA all these years on their attendance?
That is from their own student newspaper and the firm that verifies turnstile attendance for the Super Dome.
They haven't been lying. Reporting tickets sold, not tickets used, is a perfectly fine way of reporting numbers.

How would you know. 4 winning seasons in the last 31 years for Tulane. I do believe your statement is true for ULL and LaTech.

Wow....any school that only averages a little over 6K per game should be immediately removed from FBS football and forced down to FCS. I didn't even realize it was "that" bad....

Not for the nBE. Of course adding Tulane destroyed the BE. I think Cowan had pics of the BE commish with a goat or a New Orleans hooker. Only thing that makes sense. You can add Tulane's average football and basketball attendance together and not get to 10,000. Yep, that is enough to destroy a conference.

Not true at all. You can get shunned for not being a tiger fan faster than a amish girl in a strip club

Good point. We have been down in recent years as well but still manage 26-28K a year. Once we get back to being where we were (winning championships) I think we'll easily average 32-35K per game. Maybe more.

Anyone else get bored watching a game on TV when no one is in the stadium? Not a slam on any school in particular. A conference where stadiums are full instead of how many people live in a DMA would be awesome.

Schools in large metro areas with a number of other activities to occupy your time, money and interests are less likely to draw fans than schools in areas with fewer diversions (Unless the win). When you're the only game in town and they're aint a whole lot else to do that's interesting then , yeah , you're gonna get a few more fans (even for a bad team)...
