Does someone need to start posting UAB and Rice stadium pictures? Leave attendance smack to ECU fans, we have years of practice at it.

I think the new stadium along with a better on the field product will start bringing some butts in the seats. I might even go catch a game if the stars align once their new stadium is built.

Three private schools in pro sports towns with below average attendance. I think they all get their share of students from the northeast (I know when friends of mine were at Tulane that was the case) which seems to be an area of the country less interested in college football.

miami is just not a good sports town period.

It won't stay bad for long. Now that they're in the big east they will have a lot of big name programs coming to the superdome and they will easily outdraw any lowly cusa team.

The name on the patch on the front of the jersey may change but the teams by and large will remain the same. The Big East now is nothing more than CUSA pt.2.

not sure if serious . . .

ummm, it's going to be almost the exact same programs that have been playing Tulane for years, aka, "lowly cusa teams". that's sort of the irony in this whole mess.

I know, it was supposed to be a satire on the situation. I've really got to find a font for my sarcasm.

By long standing tradition FAU's fan board uses RED FONT to indicate sarcasm. Even thn it gets missed. LOL

RE: Tulane football attendance.....
So, Tulane has attendance issues. Probably not much of a surprise for most. To improve, Tulane is building a new stadium to help boost attendance and investing money in it's program to boost on-field performance, which will also increase attendance.

So, let's some of us be as critical of them as we can for their past sins at the gate. Interesting concept.

You have a neighbor's child that's struggling in school and some of the reasons are his lack of hard work. He starts doing his homework, paying attention in class, and working as hard as he can. As a neighbor, do you?
A) be as critical as possible about his past mistakes
B) let the neighbor's parents manage through the situation
C) acknowledge the positive effort to change

...just another point of view.

We draw when we win. Always have.

Y'all went undefeated in '97 or '98 and averaged right at 20k, so no y'all never draw well.

It was a lot more than 20K.
Heck we had over 25K for the opener against TCU in 2003. The game had great ratings as well; so much so that ABC pulled the labor day night spot from C-USA.
As a ULL fan, you should know this is about winning.. You guys were getting 5K 2 years ago.
