You already know that nothing of major significance will happen to our current legal immigration system. We already know - in practice given his year in office - that the actual policies crafted are more substantial and nuanced.

I wish Trump would think more before he engages his brain. I know that stink and others think that a lot of his half cocked statements are by design and meant to destabilize his opponents. I don't think that's the case - he's just impulsive sometimes with snap remarks. However, I think common sense alone tells you that his desire is for the legal immigrants to be highly skilled and have a desire to work.
