Because this board needs more basketball related discussion.

14, 15, surely not 16?
12 or 13 more than likely.
12...please, let it be 12
I'd say a 13, just like Tulsa last year.
13
Won't be surprised if it is a 15 or a 16. Comparing UAB 2015 to Tulsa 2014 isn't very accurate.

Tulsa won a share of the conference and had a way better RPI

Tulsa 2014

RPI 77
5-8 vs top 100
2 WTF losses

UAB 2015

RPI 158
2-8 vs top 100 (3-8 if we beat La. Tech today)
5 WTF losses

If we win, we are going to be viewed as a very bad team who snuck into the tournament, but then again who really knows.
I don't think we get anything above a 14. Especially since we won't get the chance to go through UTEP.
One game at a time fellas.
Might want to worry about the task at hand first. It's harder to beat a team the second time around.
Play-in.
First 4 in Dayton. 16 seed in Kentucky's bracket, with a big east team that beat first.
SWAC & MEAC Champ perennially lock up a 16 seed. UNF, Robert Morris, and Manhattan should be behind us, and Coastal Carolina, Lafeyette, & others have the chance to lock up the low-balls.

Look for winner to secure a 14-seed.
12 seed play in? I'm not too sure what the field looks like right now.
Without looking up any past seeds, my guess is 14

Those games are reserved for at-large bids

tell me more
15 seed
The 15 and 16 seed are almost always reserved for the SWAC, MEAC Big South type leagues.

Based on our record and RPI, we would be a 13 or 14 seed. We would play a 3 or 4 seed.

We won't be in the play in unless we are a 11 or 12 seed.
Id rather be a 13 or 14 seed playing a 3 or 4 than to be in the playoff game as an 11 or 12.
