Crossing my fingers that they play the second round at Consol so that the Pittsburgh Blazer contingent can represent!

Bring on Kansas. We still owe them for that game in St. Louis. I hate their fans. Bammers with dental care.

I sure agree with you there - arrogant a**h***s. I learned to hate Kansas and Kansas fans at that tournament. I really enjoyed their lost to Iowa St.

We won't go to Dayton. That's not possible. Those are reserved for at large teams.

You are correct. I forgot about the at- large part.

It's the 2nd time I've seen that stated in this board. Is that new for 2015? I don't believe so, but could be wrong

Four at large teams go to dayton and 4 automatic bids go. The at large teams are seeded either 11 or 12. The automatics are seeded 16.

If we go to Dayton we will be a 16. There are four worst teams in the tournament than us and they will not punish a #1 seed by setting them up to play us.
Yeah, those were my thoughts MB. But enough people had said those were only ar large spots that I was wondering if I missed a memo
I'd love to see the squid and his 6 month collegians. Bring on the #16 seed & Kentucky. The entire Bluegrass state will cry foul, right before we send them to 2-4 all time against us.
I read someone's post earlier about UAB being the youngest team in the country. Is that accurate? I know we have to be one of the youngest but are we truly the youngest?
3rd youngest team in the country.
I've heard 3rd youngest.

3rd youngest
The youngest in the tourney for sure.
on espn bracketology we are a 13 seed playing OU

That would be sweet.

That would be 32-0 Kentucky according to statsheet 03-razz. UAB would be second.

Youngest teams predicted in tournament as of right now by Lunardi :

1 seed - Kentucky: 1.75
14 seed - UAB: 1.85
2 seed - Kansas: 1.97
10 seed - Purdue: 2.06
1 seed - Duke: 2.08
11 seed play in - LSU: 2.19

Only real difference (experience wise) between UAB and Kentucky is that we have a CJ Washington coming off the bench for decent minutes.

We have a 32 year old debt from the 1983 tourney that needs to be settled. 05-mafia

Sorry for the confusion. I just always assume we are not in play for a 16 seed, so those spots don't matter to me. What I was referring to was the play in to the 11 or 12 seed.(maybe an occasional 13?)

Actually UAB is a 14-seed and OU is a 3-seed.

I wouldn't be afraid of this current Kansas team.

somebody forgot to tell jerry palm (and about a dozen other's that released brackets today) that a 16 seed isn't an option for UAB
