Listen to the posters that's been around for awhile and knows the seeding process. Neither UAB or MTSU will be lower than a 14 seed. You may think either team should be a 15-seed but neither will be.

IF.....and you know UABFANMAN that I said weeks ago I thought we would win the CUSA tournament and get to the dance...but IF we get by MTSU on Saturday, I think we will be a 13 at the lowest. That would have us playing a 4-seed, which would be a touch opponent. But we can be pretty good, as long as we don't have to play someone like FIU or FAU. I don't think a 4 would want to play us in the first round.

WHEN we get seeded, 13 would be ideal :) . I think 14 is more likely though.
FWIW or those with a need to know -- The C-USA championship game will be at 2:30 on FS1HD which on DirecTV is CH 219.
That makes the third different channel in three days of play.

Whoever wins-- UAB or MTSU-- will likely be a 16 seed, but likely will not have to play a play-in game. As of this morning, BPI/RPI numbers suggest we would be about the top-ranked 16 seed (just behind Belmont, the last 15 seed)...with five projected 16-seeds below us (Manhattan, No Dak St, Lafayette, Robert Morris, Texas Southern). We have probably moved above Belmont, but hard to believe we'd move much higher...I think 15 seed is most we could hope for:

We will all learn our fate Sunday after we win Saturday. Only the game tomorrow is ours to control. After that we just wait to see what others decide.
