Per the Facebook Group via Justin Craft, there will be an event on January 10th following the basketball game to honor Coach Clark as Coach of the Year at Iron City. More info to come.
UPDATE:
Coach Clark will be in attendance and will speak. Many members of the media will be there as well, possibly national media. We need a HUGE crowd at this event to make a statement and show our appreciation for everything Coach Clark has done.
There will be a free food as well.

Glad to see him getting this honor. He deserves much more than this. I would love for him to remain HC at UAB if football is reinstated, but I just am not sure he will want to endure more of the corruption around this administration (BOT even if Watts is ousted).
What time does it begin? I'll be on that side of town on the 10th but have to work from 6:30 am to 5 p.m.
Update on the event at Iron City:
The event will officially start at 5pm following the basketball game on Saturday Jan 10th (tip is at 2 for the game.) Coach Clark will be in attendance and will give a speech. As far as I know, this will be his first public comments since the program was shut down. All of the local media will be there and possibly some national media.
That being said, we need a HUGE crowd there to show our appreciation for everything that Coach Clark has done. Mods can we get this stickied at the top?

He will arrive via armored SUV, accompanied by UAB SWAT, and then helicoptered out immediately upon presentation of the award. All attendees will have to pass through metal detectors and undergo full body scans prior to entering the premises.
