Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I grew up in Richardson and played (well, I was on the team) high school football against Denton. My oldest brother ran track in college at Tarleton State, and I went to several track meets at good old North Texas State University. You guys have come a long way, and I have moved a long way away to become a rabid supporter of ODU football. Good luck to you coming into C-USA. I like the way the conference is shaping up.

04-cheers
Just got word that UTSA will be building a $4 Billion retractable dome which will serve as a multi-purpose football / baseball / basketball / softball / basketball / soccer / track / hockey / swimming / diving / gymnastics / wrestling / lacrosse / tennis / ski jumping / rowing / yachting / fencing / putt putt golf facility with a KFC inside. It'll be complete by 2019 and its roof will double as a landing strip for emergency landings from San Antonio's Air Force bases.
Beginning the 2014 baseball season, UAB will play all available home games at Regions Field. The new baseball stadium seats 8,500 and has locker room facilities for UAB and visiting teams. Regions Field is located on the north side of UAB's campus and was built on land purchased from UAB. In the near future, a promenade will be constructed connecting the adjacent Railroad Park, Regions Field, and UAB's Campus Green.

Damn that baseball field is nice!
Looks good.

Your arena is crazy. If you guys actually filled that place up, it'd be one of the most intimidating places to play in the country.
Marshall is building a new state of the art indoor practice facility, sports medicine research facility, they just finished a new soccer stadium, they're building a new hall of fame, and a new student athlete academic center. The indoor facility is a full 100 yards with a track.
Marshall University has been doing great things in terms of facilities. Joan C. Edwards stadium just added 4 new 24-seat suites to the press box at an estimated cost of $3 million. A brand new soccer complex is in it's inaugural season and a full indoor athletic facility and student-athlete learning facility. Also, it's been academic as well. A new 50 million dollar engineering complex is under construction as we speak. I'm really liking this MU Vision Campaign. Too bad WVU can't pay for any facility enhancements since they'll be paying of the AAC for years to come.03-lmfao

What will it cost to get the suite? I had the chance to sit in our Chancellor's suite for our last home game and there is something to be said for beer and food any time you want it during the game, leather chairs, and Air Conditioning! Now if I can just talk enough friends into going in together on this.

Quote:Check out the renovations happening at #FIU softball! The new stadium will feature a field-level press box and a 517-seat grandstand facility.

It does look very nice although a bit small if we ever become good enough to host (plenty of room for temp bleachers). Go F I U!

Size isn't always the common denominator. If it was we would have 400 lb Miss America's.
