The new tennis facility is located off of Old Fort Parkway, between the Stones River Mall and the new overpass being built over NW Broad. Its about 2 miles off the main campus.

Is this going to be in the same area as the basketball arena? I assume it is because this whole area has the same style of buildings....

very clean style that I really liked

It will be attached.

Pretty much any building built/remodeled in the the last 10 years on campus is in that glass and brick style.
The Beach is back....

The Marshall facilities look top notch. It definitely appears that you all are committed to athletics.
The masonry work on the soccer facility at Marshall looks fantastic, is there a reason so much money was dumped into a non revenue sport facility? Maybe a big donor with a love for the beautiful game?
This is the Hauser Alumni Pavillion. It's a permanent structure replacing tents we had here the last two seasons. It's the site of the Alumni Association's tailgate and its on the main walk from most of the tailgate lots to the stadium:

The soccer stadium was built on the site that use to house Veterans Memorial Field House. The field house was home to Marshall basketball until the Henderson center was built. The centerpiece that you see on the masonry is actually the same that was on the original field house, so I believe they wanted to keep the style.

The centerpiece truely is a beautiful thing. Its a dedication to all veterans and their sacrifices to ensure our freedom.

The new indoor facility sits where the soccer field was. Additionally, Marshall's soccer team is quite popular as soccer grows in popularity in the area. The facility is not only used by MU but also several other independent travel teams, tournaments, etc.

In fact, Huntington just hosted a huge national soccer tournament this summer that used Joan C. Edwards Stadium, Veterans Memorial Stadium, and several other high school and YMCA soccer fields.

Very nice addition. I would love for the Cam to have something along the lines of that, but the way the arena is set up, I just don't see it working. We have one big screen on the east side of the Cam. I do believe we are due a replacement in the near future.

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech's baseball and softball facilities are set for significant upgrades for the 2016 season as both on-campus fields will have complete turf playing surfaces installed prior to the upcoming spring seasons, Athletics Director Tommy McClelland announced Wednesday.

The estimated $1.2 million project for both J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park and the Lady Techster Softball Complex is 100 percent privately funded and is set to get underway in the next week, weather permitting. Geo-Surfaces, a professional engineering firm based out of Baton Rouge, has designed both fields and will install the turf in the next six to 10 weeks.

"Our commitment to enhance the facilities at Louisiana Tech is a priority for all sports," McClelland said. "This project is a representation of that commitment."
