Don't know enough about the case or how well the wounds were studied to determine if they were easily self inflicted or more likely from a 2nd party. Regardless, the court will review it.

I stated this in another thread.. I've lived in PA for 5 years now...
When I moved here Wolfe was the Governor and Fetterman was the Lt. Governor.. Shapiro was the AG...
When it was announced that the Lt. Governor wasn't going to run for the governorship but was running for US Senate, Shapiro was the one the local Dems got behind here where I live.
Never heard of the guy.. Anywho... From what I understood he never really prosecuted big cases, except in election cycles, and he went after a huge contractor.. Now what they did was shady as hell, don't get me wrong.. They were stealing money from the guys who did the backbreaking work and giving it to their pencil pushers.. Shapiro charged them and made headlines, then let them plea it out and basically they had to pay the money back (which is right) and usually with this they are banned from doing state work for x number of years (this company does mainly highway construction for state work).. Shapiro was supposed to go through a process to be disqualified, but after paying the money back ($20 million) and paying Shapiro's office $240k for the prosecution charges, Shapiro dropped the disqualification procedure. This was never argued in front of a court, it was all a plea deal.
PennDOT has since picked it up and took it to the PA Supreme Court and it's now being ruled on if they are disqualified or not, because guess what Shapiro never asked PennDOT if they wanted the contractor disqualified or not, he cut a deal, got the headline, and left an agency out there hanging.
But hey, Shapiro made the bad men pay... Pay the people they stole from and his office, got him headlines, and they were good...
