Yeah, sure, anything is possible until the convention.
What did Bongino have to say about Moochelle running?
Bongino worked in the Obama WH. His recollection was that while it doesn't seem that Michelle didn't like the spotlight, she really did not want publicity and was not a fan of politics.
Thanks. That makes sense. I just know that she said many times she didn't want anything to do with running for office, and I didn't see any reason she would lie about it.
I also thought if she felt that way, Barry wasn't going to talk her into it, otherwise.

Cringe...
Amazing how it took the country several months to make Joe the presumptive nominee and within hours of Joe stepping down, Kamala is now the presumptive nominee.
Amazing how a completely rigged primary process from the start is being retconed as some democratic process that must now be respected. Amazing how the group of people who have been screaming at the sky that Sloe Biden is too old and senile to be running for president (and I agree you were right I was screaming this going back to 2019) now scream at the sky when he essentially admits they have been right the whole time and stops running for president.
I think it's disgusting that the Dems have completely rigged 3 straight primaries, and have argued in a court of law and won on the point that they have the complete right to do it. It absolutely is disgusting, undemocratic, and I think there should be real discussion about reforming the entire process of primaries. Please GOP go out and advocate and propose legislation to change the national primary process, I'm all for it.
Wait.. What?
Only one side has "super delegates" that can decide a nominee..
We're not screaming at the sky about Joe dropping out as much as we're pointing out that in no uncertain terms we've been right for 3 years, but it's amazing he's too incompetent to stand trial and run for re-election (after the process) but can still "run" the country for the next 6 months. That's our issue more or less...
Not sure what wasn't clear about that. Currently primaries aren't actually real "elections." The rules are completely decided by the parties themselves and they are completely free to change them whenever they wish or disregard them completely if they wish, and the only thing stopping it is if they fear a massive backlash from their own people for doing it. It's a disgusting, awful, and undemocratic system that should be changed.
The main reason the GOP didn't pull the same type of shenanigans to Trump in 2016 that the Dems did to Bernie is that Bernie is a cuck. Trump for better or worse (and in this case I'd say absolutely for the better) has balls and holds grudges. He made it very clear in debates that he would not automatically support/endorse the primary winner if it wasn't him and made it clear he would consider running 3rd party. He was dead right to do that, and if Bernie weren't a b*tch he'd have done the same.
There's absolutely no rules or laws though that would have prevented the GOP from doing it, just the threat that Trump was willing to destroy the entire party if they did with enough people who would have followed him. Primaries do not need to be governed and controlled by the parties, they need to be governed and controlled the same way as normal elections.
As far as Biden, yes all of us that have been saying he was too senile to even run for president in 2020 much less be president have been right the whole time. Yes you are also right that he is not capable of being president right now and he needs to resign.
My point is unfortunately while what the Dems did absolutely is undemocratic and disgusting it was unfortunately perfectly legal, and if Biden had refused to drop out and they staged a convention coup it still would have been unfortunately perfectly legal. I'd love to change that, where you are actually legally bound to the results of the primaries and not just bound to them if you want to be, and that's what I'd love to see some proposals and legislation laid out to change.
I don't want us to make this novel responses..
In a way I agree that primaries aren't real elections but they are elections. What I was referencing was that for the Republican primaries the people vote and whomever gets the most votes gets x number of delegates, then it goes down from there... Whereas the Dems do it but they also have this weird Super Delegate system where the SDs can put who they want at the top of the ticket. Happened in 2016 and in 2020.. If the GOP had it, you're right Trump probably wouldn't had made it in 2016, probably would've been Jed Bush.
You're right, it's legal, however the way they went about it is not the way I understood it was supposed to happen. Kamala wasn't supposed to come in and then boom she's the nominee, the way I understood was it needed to be an open convention and people nominated and delegates vote.

The only reason the Obama’s think She would be a fantastic president are she would be a bigger puppet for Obama and the deep state than Biden could after his obvious decline where He fumbled the agenda he was to deliver
Well said...

Got to give it up for Bongino. He said a couple of years ago that Michelle wanted no part of the presidency. Dan was part of her protection detail. He said she hated politics and didn't even want Barack to run.
Personally I wish Barack had listened to her. Our Nation would be much better off.

Party over country. None of them actually want Kamala to be President. At least none of them did until a couple of days ago.

Could be. Hadn't thought of that. But whatever the reason, she never wavered from saying not interested. She would look pretty silly to jump in at the last minute now.
OTOH, nothing the Dems do could ever surprise me, lol.
If Kamala fell flat on her face between now and the convention, you could bet the Dem powers that be would yank her out just like they did old Joe.
But I still don't think it would be MooMoo. Maybe Kelly and some other female running mate.
