Might want to stick to sports or athletic budgets. GCU will lose the battle of academics to most schools, let alone to UTA.

Thank you RCI. Yeah our first year coach deserves a raise I think for that! Very proud of those young men for taking home the trophy! It is a "Bad News Bears" kind of story going from the bottom to winning the Conference! I think I will listen to Bizet's "Carmen" all night lol

I am greatly looking toward seeing how the WAC schools handle the new scholarship limits. Does everyone go to the new numbers? If not, who does and who does not? What numbers do schools go to? What’s the impact on Title IX? Does anybody drop baseball because they can’t raise their numbers and therefore can’t compete? Going to be fascinating.

it will be harder for schools playing at our level to compete. all the money schools will sign 34 good players. very few of those schools will have trouble paying for full rosters of players and those of us that dont have the funds will be left in the dust further separating them from us. our departing coach may have already had that discussion with the budget office and may not have gotten an encouraging answer.
