For those who just saw the final score of USM winning 79-74, that was so misleading

- USM is down to 7 players thanks to 5 players entering the portal and are no longer on the team
- UAB jumped out to a 17-4 lead
- UAB led by 10 after 3
- USM outscored UAB by 21 the first 9 1/2 minutes of 4th Q to go up 11 with 30 seconds left
- UAB hit two 3s in final 14 seconds to make the final 79-74

It was announced immediately after the game by our head coach over the PA system that we will host Murray State on Saturday at 5 pm

I hope those portal players who couldn’t wait a week or two wind up in DIII. Have fun paying to play.

Gonna miss watching Dominique play after this season.. but am glad Grayson didn't hit the transfer portal (which i thought she was going to do)
