I appreciate the observations. Good showing for transitioning Tarleton, and it's only just the start. The top four not playing football definitely raises some other thoughts/questions. Presumably, no football means less revenue for an athletic department (quite possibly very faulty rationale) but the flip side of that coin could be that there is more to go around for other programs when you don't have to feed a beast like football.
