Irvine’s Preview

I was hoping Gaines would weigh more than 165# at this point. Bradley’s front court size of 6-9, 6-9, and 7-1 is unreal. And yet my concern is with their 5-8 point guard.

I don't think those will be our starters. I think they were the starters in the exhibition game because they were all returners plus Yax.
But I could be wrong. We shall see this evening. Hopefully there is a great crowd.

Hoping for EG, Ortiz, Vasquez, Dunning, Coleman in starting lineup.

I agree. I also think we'll see a lot of tinkering with the lineup, early in the season especially. It's going to take some time to figure out what the groupings are in games.

Hot off the press, Bradley guard Trey Pettigrew is "no longer with the team" according to chris, who told me in class. Projected to average 7ppg this season per Torvik.

Missing 3s early

We honestly look good I think, we’re just taking too many contested shots and missing the open ones. Loving the defense.

We’re out of control. They know we can’t shoot 3s, so packing the paint to cut off lanes

like FG, I was gonna say that I think we actually look pretty good. Trying to force it too much, getting out of control, in transition and the open shots not falling, but other than that, I don't have a ton to complain about. Defensive intensity if high

You've got to be able to shoot over the top of a defense that has that much length, and so far we 18% from the field and 0-3 from 3.

So we went from playing great defense to no defense

And very little offense.

Bradley can shoot the ball.

We look like the team that struggled with a d2 school last week.
