Ask yourself...would you rather watch that second half last night in that building, or watch one half of basketball under Grant McCasland in the Super Pit?

There’s only 1 option since he’s now at Texas Tech. :)

Sick of disappointment. 25 years of fandom and I still ain’t used to it. Not numb to it at all. Once you get a taste of success, it’s hard to allow it to fade as it has. Can’t let it go. Mute me. Don’t blame ya.

Moving on.

Mind boggling two SEC transfer guards got 10 mins combined. Would've went long to end the 2nd half, no guard was hot offensively. We only got two top 150 players in their HS classes we should run through them. AJ didn't provide the jelly scoring ww was told. Don't remember the P5 backcourt out there together.

Look at the stats white put up at ole miss, particularly his shooting stats, which was a bad team while he was there.

He is another raw, extremely athletic and long guard who can’t shoot. I don’t think he’s going to do much unless AK buys into the fast paced pressing game we saw most of the 2nd half, that we abandoned late in the game when we lost it.

Buffen put up better numbers on a better team at ole miss and was still a really limited player offensively - he had tons of other great attributes before anyone attacks me

to be fair to white I wouldn't say he is a "bad" shooter at least not yet, his percentages at ole miss are misleading because his shooting volume was so low due to his role, from the film I've seen he likes to operate in the mid range and thats his best strength he's a pretty good shot creator from that area and the 3 ball is his hit or miss. He reminds me of a more athletic Ertel

The crowd, except the white hairs who never cheer, felt really good.

Yeah the crowd was loud during key moments. Student section still needs work energy wise.
According to twitter, some students were told to sit down by the event staff.
If that is true, then someone needs to email Ingram or send Kurre and email to ask Ingram how he can get the students more involved.

Again, there is no Gang Green student leader.

Seems reasonable. That would be 42.7% capacity, or 4,868 empty seats.

AK has won 2 more games than his predecessor while losing 31 less games .

Honestly, the AAC season is where it's at anyway. We knew going into this year in a new (well half of it at least) league there would be some transition. A top 3 finish in the league, and you'd be surprised at where we may sit on the FN Bubble Watch ™.

Again hit one more three and three more FTs. (Or one in regulation). The sky isn’t falling.

And the place was rocking in the second half.

RE: Bradley Braves
Folks don’t know how to act at a game.

When we went up by 7-9 points and Bradley called their timeout. Most of the crowd sat down and didn’t engage in the game again. Like they thought we were in cruise control from then on.

I don’t know how many of our fans watch college hoops on tv outside of our games, but the better programs have fans engaged the whole game, on every defensive possession and many of those student sections don’t have benches for the students to sit down.

I tried to get folks up and engaged but I agree folks don’t know how to act outside of our core group.

RE: Bradley Braves
When the crowd did get going, we were damn near willing the team to turn it around. It was loud, it was fun.
Perhaps if we are engaged like that early in the game, we don’t go down 15-20 points. There was a point in the first half where AK just said F it. He sat on the bench, rested his chin on his hand. The opposing coach was up, involved with his team, shouting guys into position on both ends.
