Where are you reading that a 1/2 share of just the B1G media rights will be $40m? It will be more like $30m.
If Colorado, Arizona, ASU and Utah are worth another $32M OTA in the Big 12, wouldn't OU and UW be worth more? And if all of these schools are worth so much, why can't the combined Pac get that much?
It's almost like there is some collusion to get to four major conferences among the networks...
Not collusion Colorado vs Baylor or TCU will get more viewers than Colorado vs Oregon State
Oregon vs Penn State or Michigan will get more viewers than Oregon vs Washington or Utah
Western schools are more likely to draw bigger ratings in a National conference verses a Western only conference.
