My issue with claims like this on internet forums is that extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. When Brett McMurphy made the extraordinary claim that the B1G is holding off on UW/UO b/c of bad optics, it was hard to believe but he's been the most reputable source around on realignment for a good while now. He gets the benefit of the doubt. When a random poster on here makes an extraordinary claim like that SDSU has had a Pac invite for months but nobody has leaked any information about it at all...well, it's pretty easy to believe that what SDSU actually has is Kliavkoff's word that they'll get an invite "probably within a couple weeks". Kliavkoff wouldn't be the first Conference Commissioner to get out in front of his skis on an invite, and as much as I like and respect SDSU, you guys are no PSU. That doesn't mean that you guys won't get an invite, and it doesn't mean that you don't have an unofficial wink-wink invite now, but if you guys had an ACTUAL rather than verbal invite then you'd have already left the MWC. Or, perhaps you do have an actual invite, and your administration is super buttoned down so nobody has leaked it, and they're concerned about the future of the Pac that they're waiting to make a decision. For your sake, I hope that it's the former, even the Pac wouldn't be so stupid as to leave you guys out. If it's the latter then things are as bad at Pac HQ as many of us think, perhaps worse.

And again I will repeat myself. The PAC would prefer to announce their media deal before announcing expansion. SDSU has until June 30 before they have to do anything.
