Wonder if Liam Fornadel on the Defenders will get a look anywhere?

Unfortunately, minicamps end before the XFL championship is played so a team is going to have to use a training camp slot to take a look at Fornadel.

With that said, the Defenders are the league's best team overall, are the highest scorers, and have 1,408 rushing yards whereas the next highest team has 969 (granted 1/3 less rushes). I have to believe some NFL teams to take a serious look at their OL.

Nooch is much better than 3-deep. I believe the Broncs are looking for a ready-to-go starter if anything happens to 34-year-old Russell Wilson, and neither Stidham or Guarantano are that. In fact, I'm surprised that either of them found their way onto an NFL roster. They have both had pretty miserable careers. Stidham is better than Guarantano, but nowhere close to Nooch. Stidham has two NFL starts for Vegas, is 0 for 2, 6 career touchdowns, 7 picks. Guarantano's career amounts to less than a month on the Cardinals' practice squad before being cut, then being signed to the Denver Broncos practice squad in early December 2022. He was promoted to the active roster on December 20, but has not had a professional snap other than a few preseason snaps with Arizona. Both have spent a fair amount of time injured. Someone has to go. I figure it will be Guarantano, the #2 competition being between Stidham and Nooch.

So, I can't imagine either of these guys beating Nooch, but stranger things have happened.

RE: XFL is awesome!
The XFL named their Offensive MVP and it was Ta’amu from DC. I’m guessing DiNucci’s picks were the reason he didn’t get it but it should’ve gone to McCarron then.

DiNucci 10GP 2,671yards 242-374 64.7% 20TD 13INT 5fumbles Rushing 53-305yards 3TD
McCarron 9GP 2,150yards 203-295 68.8% 24TD 6INT 4fumbles Rushing 29-100yards 1TD
Ta’amu 10GP 1,894yards 143-229 62.4% 14TD 3INT 5fumbles Rushing 67-298yards 3TD

True. I thought Ta'amu was very good, but if Nooch had had that DC O-line, man, the havoc he would have created. He had to ad lib a lot in the backfield for completions or scrambles. It looked like Ta'amu had all day back there.

I will be rooting hard for Mr. Fornadel and the Defenders in the championship game. He had a very solid game Sunday for the team that I believe clearly has the best offensive line in the league. It looked like Washington favored running to the right behind Liam and on many plays to the left, I think I recall Liam pulling.

I think this might be about Sickos Committee, which was originally just a bunch of people tweeting about bad/fun college football ("All football is good football.") They've now got multiple channels, commenting on the pros, as well as hockey, baseball, and college basketball. (Their accounts are fun follows.)

I thought we might see Mr. Daka's name there, too, but not to be. I was surprised that Fornadel was the only DC O-lineman to make the first (and only) team. St. Louis had three make it, but I thought DC's O-line was by far the best in the league.

I'm rooting for the beer snake! 04-cheers

Late first quarter, DC (9-1 regular season) is getting their asses kicked by (4-6 regular season) Arlington, 14-zip.

Amazing! Five minutes before halftime, Arlington leads DC 17-0.

The XFL POY, DC's QB Ta'amu, is 2 for 6 for 32 yards, no touchdowns, 1 pick.

RE: XFL is awesome!
Beginning of the fourth quarter, Arlington leads DC 32-20. Arlington just looks superior.

I recall reading one writer explaining his choice for the best prospect to win the XFL championship. He said it would be Arlington and said it was because Stoops is the best coach in the league and he would, by season end, put together the best team in the league. Tonight it has been hard to argue with that.

As I was posting this, Ta'amu was just picked for the second time. Arlington ball around the DC 20.

Feel gold, Arlington leading 35-20, ten minutes left. Uphill climb for DC now. All the momentum belongs to the Renegades.

Two minute warning, Arlington leading 35-20, had the ball in DC's red zone when QB Perez fumbled. Game was effectively over. Now, DC has the ball. If they score, I believe they can use the 4th-and-15 onside kick rule and keep the ball. Looooooooooooooong shot, but the Defenders are still alive. The XFL is fun!

Wow! Defenders score, trailing 35-26, they go for the 4th-and-15 onside. Ta'amu throws his third pick of the game.

Amazing! The 4-6 Arlington Renegades win the XFL Championship!
