UNC and Michigan are significantly under .500 vs Q1 and Q2, and yet they're constantly on the bubble. I think we're safely in now, so I will be rooting for some mid-major conference upsets, depriving the bluebloods of some tournament slots.
It’s crazy how much respect the Big 10 receives. With all the chances they have every year in the NCAA tournament, it’s been 22 years since they have produced a winner. In all major sports (football, baseball, basketball), they have ONE national championship in the past 22 years. The exact same number as The Big South Conference. Just pitiful!

100%
Although, this year there may not be a huge difference between a 1 and 2 seed opponent in the second game.

I have. I'm still pissed at the stretch where Derrick Rose hit a 3 pointer at around the 2 or 3 minute mark left in the game.
Memphis and Kansas both go through a couple of offensive possessions back and forth. When play was finally stopped...they went back and reviewed the three pointer, and declared it a 2 pointer.
There should be a limit on how far they can go back. If there was a question about the shot...they should have stopped play immediately to go back and review...not wait for about a minute and a half or so to go back and review.
In the NFL, if they don't go back and review the play...they lose the ability to do so.
Have no issue with the timing of the review.
I do however have an issue as to WHY they reviewed it.
Kansas didn't ask for a review.
Game officials didn't call for a review.
But a REPORTER went to the scoring table and suggested the official at the table should call for a review.
Yep, it was the radio guy who brought it up… maybe Jim Gray?
Nope. It was Jim Nantz.

Nantz did the TV broadcast… I was told it was the national radio guy…

8/9 seed is not as bad this year as there are no dominant teams like Gonzaga last year besides maybe Houston and they would not likely put us in their bracket as an 8/9

It would seem that Auburn taking down #10 Tennessee and Texas A&M taking down #2 Alabama helps our profile. I’ll leave that to someone else to figure out.
