Just remember none of these brackets guys is on the committee.

Ratings. That's ALL ESPN cares about. Suckas!

http://bracketmatrix.com/rankings.html (Someone here shared this link. It's great!)

I shared the link quite a while ago. Lunardi's accuracy is awful, and I've never given him much credence. He's middle of the pack at best; just another talking head.
The local media has gotten away from quoting Lunardi exclusively after readers pointed out his mediocrity.

Palm is just as bad

I have. I'm still pissed at the stretch where Derrick Rose hit a 3 pointer at around the 2 or 3 minute mark left in the game.
Memphis and Kansas both go through a couple of offensive possessions back and forth. When play was finally stopped...they went back and reviewed the three pointer, and declared it a 2 pointer.
There should be a limit on how far they can go back. If there was a question about the shot...they should have stopped play immediately to go back and review...not wait for about a minute and a half or so to go back and review.
In the NFL, if they don't go back and review the play...they lose the ability to do so.

The call that changed the game is when the Kansas player steppped out of bounds on the steal and it wasn’t called. If that doesn’t happen we probably win by 7-10 points

The Ref (Ted Valentine?) looking right at the Jayhawk player step out of bounds never makes the call late in the game allowing Kansas to come back from 9 points down with less than 2 minutes on the clock.

Heck I'd rather be a 10 seed than a 8/9. A 10 seed for the Tigers is the same as a 7 as far as I'm concerned.

RE: Check Out Lunardi's Latest Bracketology
I'm getting really tired of seeing Wisconsin in the bracket. Their NET is 77(!), and if it weren't for Q4 wins, they'd be under .500. UNC and Michigan are significantly under .500 vs Q1 and Q2, and yet they're constantly on the bubble. I think we're safely in now, so I will be rooting for some mid-major conference upsets, depriving the bluebloods of some tournament slots.

A 10 or 7 seed - hopefully that’s where we end up. 8/9 is basically a death knell for 2nd weekend trip

I’ll never get the big ten love. They haven’t won a title since 2000 I believe. Only team imo that can make a run is Purdue. Maybe Indiana but they’ve fell off lately

Have no issue with the timing of the review.

I do however have an issue as to WHY they reviewed it.

Kansas didn't ask for a review.

Game officials didn't call for a review.

But a REPORTER went to the scoring table and suggested the official at the table should call for a review.

Lunardi has no clue and pulls this stuff out of thin air. His accuracy or lack thereof should be enough to dissuade anyone from taking his "predictions" too seriously.

It’s crazy how much respect the Big 10 receives. With all the chances they have every year in the NCAA tournament, it’s been 22 years since they have produced a winner. In all major sports (football, baseball, basketball), they have ONE national championship in the past 22 years. The exact same number as The Big South Conference. Just pitiful!

Broadcasters, conferences, and the NCAA all are out for the same thing. Viewers. When it comes to conferences, no conferences have more fans than the SEC and B1G, so it makes perfect sense they get so much attention. Not fair, but the money does the talking in the business of college sports.
