Our home and away split is very strange, but I will say it will be an easier task to reverse the home record versus a team trying to learn how to win on the road. They have the toughest part figured out, when we transfer that to the home court watch out.

And some of it is odd randomness. It took a couple of months for this team to get its footing on this season and we weren't winning on the road either. Then, you have some random losses in a pretty small sample size that if went the other way (like the Miami OT loss and a couple others), you have a much different picture of the home record.

Sam thing happened to Plintauskas and his FT%. Last game, he came to the line late and the announcers stated his FT% was in the 80s. He missed both FTs and then took one more last night, which he missed.

That's just 3 misses in a row but his %age dropped to to 61.5%. If he makes the next 3 it'll jump up again. Small samples, like our home games, is really random and aren't all that reflective of anything.

Yep, when the Huskies demolished Western Michigan at home, they treated it as an away game. The team stayed in a hotel outside DeKalb, did their normal out of town activities, and were bussed to the game. It certainly worked, but obviously that can't be done for every game!
It didn't hurt that we were playing Western Michigan...and that shouldn't be overlooked.

Maybe having the south bleachers rolled up jinxes the Huskies.

Look at the bright side, the MAC tourney is not played in DeKalb.

03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

Even a brighter side, we aren't playing BSU in the MAC tourney.

"I still contend the missed layups are what put us too far back.'

We missed out first 4 3pt. shots (no rebounds) and the score was 14-4. We could never really overcome that deficit.
