And Hornbeak is back. Are these injuries or rolling suspensions? If I’m a senior and it’s Senior Day, I’m not sitting this one unless it’s a very serious injury.

Story we got yesterday is Payton broke left wrist on missed dunk vs Buffalo. How serious? and will he play again this season?
No clue. He appeared to be wearing a black splint. Not a full cast.

As I stated above, the game story in the Beacon said that his injury is "season-ending". I hate the "slam dunk". It became old-hat long ago. Ho-hum. I wouldn't want to see it go back to 1967/68 through 1975/76 when the dunk was banned, but I wish coaches would forbid the so-called "slam dunk". Just drop it in like they used to years ago before the collapsible rims.

That toothpaste ain’t goin’ back in the tube.

I know it's not, but I wish it were.

I'm fairness, most guys it's not an injury risk. But Payton dunks so much more than most guys that he has a lot more hits on those wrists. It's a shame, I was hoping he'd have a shot at the college slam dunk contest this year.

And that's Payton's game, he dunks....and he dunks some more which pumps him up even more to then dunk, miss one, then dunk again...

RE: Kent State vs. Central Michigan
Here I was wishing Hornbeak would throw down on some of that around the rim action. Payton is an extreme, aggressive dunker. I remember the exact play. Really hurts if he is out for rest of season.
