Wichita State is having a solid season. I expect the Shockers to make some noise in the regionals.

I am hopeful that we will host a regional, having beaten Oklahoma State and Arkansas, and moving up the rankings.

Unfortunately, WSU dropped a game yesterday at KU so our slim hope for a regional this year is probably now zero. We'll likely be playing in the OSU regional or Arkansas regional I would guess.

Just a side note here, but tonight UNT beat MTSU 2-0 to ensure that the regular season C-USA softball title will be won by one of the new AAC additions. Now only Charlotte, UAB, & UNT have a chance to earn the regular season crown. Hopefully next week's tournament title will also be won by a new AAC members.

I'm shocked Wichita State got knocked out, but I'll be pulling for Tulsa tomorrow. Nothing against UCF, but I'd like to see this championship go to a program that will remain in the AAC.

UCF wins 9-1 in 5 innings. Hate the run rule in championship games but it’s how UCF has won the last 2 seasons.

And the game was on ESPN2 showing on several tv screens in my gym. I am looking forward to playing in the AAC with this kind of media coverage.

Unfortunately, C-USA chose to screw UNT out of winning the C-USA Softball Title. Not saying UNT would have won the game. It was tight the throughout the entire contest. But in the top of the 12th inning the ump and replay officials awarded MTSU a run at the plate that was the 3rd out of the inning. both replay videos clearly show the runner tagged before reaching the plate & the announcers declared the runner out based on their study of the video.



The C-USA officials' choice to be wrong cost UNT a shot at winning the conference title and a spot in an NCAA Regional. I guess C-USA had no interest in watching another of their titles go to a program leaving for the AAC. Judy and her conference administration should be ashamed.

To be completely honest. That game was so early I didn't get a chance to see any of it. So, I can't argue against your opinion. But even so, I can't see how a bad check swing call can be the same as a blown third out call at the plate for the game winning run in the 12th inning. But I will pull it up on ESPN+ and have a look at the play, if you'll tell me in which inning it occurred.

#20 Wichita State going to the OSU regional in Stillwater as expected. We'll be facing off against Nebraska to start off.

Also, Charlotte earns an at-large bid to play in the Durham regional with #8 Duke. Plays Campbell in the first game

#1: Favor the team that can win it all but with no at-large chance (UNT) over the team with the at-large sewn up (CLT). More $$ for the league.

#2: favor the team staying (MTSU) over the team leaving (UNT). Trophy presentations way less awkward and maybe even toy jeeps for the crew at Christmas.

#3: Chili’s in Ruston is amazing but good luck getting them to keep the kitchen open late, even for a big event like the tournament championships. 12 innings of softball is plenty, thank you!
