With our influx of talented, experienced players, and the returning talented, experienced players we already had, I too was hoping for a pretty big improvement from this team from last year.
So far, I haven't seen it. We are basically the same or worse. Doesn't mean we can't go on a huge run and end up better than last year, but to this date, we are either the same or worse than last year. I did not expect a Memphis-type run through CUSA this year, but I did expect us to be the clear number one team in CUSA. We are not. We are in the 2nd tier with UNT. And that is a disappointment.
There was a reason why the expectations for this team were so high in the preseason.
Now someone will come on here, blast me, and tell me my expectations are too high and say I am too negative.

Ocean Bank Convocation Center (FIU) 5,000
Devlin Field House Tulane 4,100
UTSA Convocation Center 4,080
Pete Mathews Coliseum 3,500 (Capacity was reduced from 5,500)
Tuscaloosa County HS 3,000
Baldwin Arena (FAU) is 2,900.
Hoover HS is 2,800
Huntsville HS 2,500
HT HS 2,400
James Clemons 2,210 C
Oak Mount an HS 2,000
Thompson HS 2,000
Bob Jones HS 1,600
This is wild.
A seating capacity of 2,900 would place Baldwin Arena as the 321st largest arena out of 363 in D-1.
As I recall, the gym in Storrs, CT was a 2,500 seat crackerbox when the Blazers beat UConn there in the NIT.
