I don't know whether he gets eligible or not. I hear he requires a waiver that's been applied for. I would think he gets it, but who knows with the NCAA.
Malco and Kao are their only truly 5 men. Chandler and Dre and more forwards forced to played 5 because they short handed. They always gonna be outmatched against beefier guys/teams inside because most 5s are going to outweigh them by 30 pounds...then yall blame them for getting killed inside LOL. Kao should play more, he's thin too but used to playing against 5s at least and his athleticism can sometimes outweighs much bigger physically stronger guys.

Being skinny didn't seem to hurt Holmgren too much. If Kao improves his rebounding and learns to not get drawn into fouls, I see him being very effective.

Are you comparing Chet Holmgren, a top 10 NBA pick to Kao? LOL...

What is so difficult to understand? I'm saying weight isn't the limiting factor. That doesn't mean I believe Kao has the same potential as Holmgren. Very effective doesn't mean lottery pick.

Okay, I will spell this out for you nice and simple. Both guys are skinny. Weight or lack thereof isn't as big of a fault as people can make it out to be. Do you understand now? The only similarity between Holmgren and Kao that I was pointing out is that they are both skinny for their height, and that Kao can still grow to be effective for us in spite of his lack of mass. Naming Holmgren was used as a means to simply show that a very skinny player wasn't hampered by having a beanpole build.

If that's what you think, more power to you. Analogies aren't everyone's forte.

Holmgren is skinny and was considered an elite defender at the college level. Kao is skinny and should be able to develop into a good defender. Being skinny didn't stop Holmgren from being an elite defender, and it won't stop Kao from being a good defender. Even if you are skinny, you can excel as a big.
It's complicated to you, but it shouldn't be. I hope this helped.

Chet played as the 4 man, think you and your buddy are forgetting that which made him have to defend in space some. Drew Timme played the 5 for them 90 percent of the time. Chet ste wasn't an exclusive post defender. Nothing is complicated to me, don't speak to me in a condescending way, "it's complicated to you" I see right through that. Your buddy didn't need any help, you have a good one.

Apparently it is incredibly difficult for you to grasp the simple analogy that was presented. Nothing you're saying is relevant to the comparison made. It had nothing to do with comparing their skill or playing ability. It was simply demonstrating that being skinny and not having the size of a traditional big isn't necessarily the limiting factor. Anything beyond that is way out of scope of what was being discussed.
It is obvious that you are confused and it is very much over your head to understand, because you keep coming back to something that was never being compared, over and over. You can continue to argue this point, but I assure you that it only makes you look slow. This is not a comparison of their skills, it is simply the fact that both are thin men and being thin, in and of itself, is not necessarily a reliable indicator of whether or not they can play as a big. Do you understand now? If not, spare everyone the back and forth because no explanation is going to get through to you.

Hey maybe, never know lol. You take this pretty seriously huh? Because I disagreed with you, you insinuate that I'm slow or some how dumb enough not to know how to cut a computer on? You pretty upset huh? I have an easy solution for you, not complicated or anything but take a gander at this. You don't have to respond, keep scrolling by, that thing on the right side, up or down to slide the page, I promise it's easy to do.

Young was the comment to which we replied. Is he a 5 or a 4?

I will let you have the last word on not understanding that the only point being made was about players being able to succeed as a big even if they are skinny. Repeat again how that is beyond your comprehension.
