Maybe thats just what happens when try to claim an entire sea as your "territorial waters". We border the Pacific---even have a state right in the middle of it---so I guess that means the Pacific Ocean is our "Territorial Waters". FWIW, the last time they did something like this it was just a few miles off the Philippine coast---so dont be surprised when you find out the plane wasnt exactly skirting the coast of China.

Anyone bothered to look at the Chinese J-31 and notice the striking resemblance to the US F-35? Anyone know who Fang Fang is? The Chinese "fishing fleet" has ravaged the Latin American Oceans using illegal fishing methods to deplete the fisheries. They often enter territorial waters in the western hemisphere Latin nations. Argentina is the only one with guts---they just flat out sink em' when they find them in their territorial waters. The Chinese have their spy ships off the coast of Australia (within 50 miles of a sensitive defense facility). The Chinese has militarized its China Sea fishing fleet to move takeover islands that are in the territorial waters of its neighbors.

In short----China knows exactly what its doing. They dont like having a free democratic nation 100 miles off their coast with defense ties to a foreign nation. Tough. We didnt like having a communist nation 90 miles off our coast with defense ties to the a foreign power that had vowed to "end us". It is what it is.

Typical Chinese modus operandi this administration should have foreseen this….

One of the rare occasions where the sequel is as good or better than the original. The only other example of that I can think of off the top of my head is "Alien's". "Aliens" incidentally came out the same year as the original "Top Gun"---1986. At the time, I thought the 7 year gap between "Alien" and "Aliens" was pretty long---but I have to think that "Top Gun Maverick" might set the record for the largest gaps between original and sequel that I can remember (36 years). Its certainly got to be the longest gap where the original actor is still playing THE leading role in both. "The Huslter" and the "The Color of Money" were 25 years apart. Thats the only one with such a massive gap between original and sequal with the same actor in the leading role (Paul Newman) that I can think of....and strangely---"The Color of Money" also came out in 1986.
