It didn't look good - his left knee buckled sideways when he landed. Any word on Davis?

Looked like he rolled his ankle pretty good vs any knee issues. Ankle will probably heal fine but I worry more about his conditioning (not his strong suit anyway) seeing that he won't be able to do any running while he's rehabbing.
With the fall semester over is Jahmar Young available. I know he never averaged more than 7 minutes a game for SMU but it would help to have another big body while Malco is out.

Agree. In the past, whenever we had to wait on a player for a semester, that meant the end of the fall semester. It's over, so I'm expecting Young any day now. He's evidently not a starter, but could certainly provide a few minutes while Malco is out.

It's been reported and mentioned on the board numerous times for weeks that he will be eligible the 17th.

I’m afraid that all changed. We now need a waiver because he didn’t enter the portal on time.

I don't see how he can keep going being essentially crippled by the end of each game.

Probably not a popular take, but I think it's more of a "pimp-gimp" than being actually injured. Some have even surmised that it is a mental reaction to the possibility of being injured after a shaky landing. Like... "am I okay? Did I just twist my ankle? IDK.... Let me walk gingerly on it for a while in case I did."

Yeah ... Kinda my thought as well. Reminds me of a James Brown performance without the cape ... He keeps coming back for more !!07-coffee3

Trouble with Kao is nobody is going to stay with him if he steps out. The center will stay packed. No driving lanes. Anathema for the Tiger offense.

Does anyone jump out to guard Chandler or Malcolm?

Iirc, after Malco D and DeAndre were out, Penny played 4 guards around Chandler. It would be very interesting to see Kao;McCadden;Keonte;Kendric and Mars in this setup...there would be lots of movement for sure; finishes @ the basket;some exciting blocks....Man, is anybody seeing those dimes that kd is tossing out there 04-jawdrop...there's nobody in the college game with vision like that...

Since Penny is not opposed to high pace with 4 guards....I would throw that line up out there with "any" team....run & gun/run & shoot 03-cloud9 ...I love our weapons 05-mafia03-idea

AM 560 said Malco will be out 1-2 weeks with a bad sprain. A sprain is typically a small tear. Hopefully he heals well. We'll miss his big body down low. They also mentioned how he hit his head on the cameraman's knee. They say he had no injuries from that. No concussion protocol, I suppose.

First I've listed to AM 560 in a while.

EDIT: They discussed KD's ankle issues. No news regarding KD.

Maybe, but that was speculation. Penny is checking status now. Hang tight.

It looked pretty brutal! I didn't want to be either guy in that scenario.

With the way he was seated with his knee bent I don't think it effected him at all.

Any updates on Dandridge's injury. Is it a high ankle sprain - I never heard for sure what the diagnosis was.
