If there is any justice the Ukrainians will fly one of these drones into the Kremlin.

Sorry, 175 years ago. I should have said "almost 200 years ago". Either way, I cannot blame Zelenskyy for fighting for his country. I don't get why you and others are okay with Russia invading another country and taking their territory at this point.

I think "at this point" is very key - international norms and law are much more established today than they were in the 1840s at the time of the Mexican-American War. It has worked out well for the US that we stole the present-day southwestern US from Mexico, but steal it by force of arms is what we did. Russia has far more historical justification for their war in Ukraine than we had during the Mexican-American War, but that in no way justifies their actions in 2014 & 2022.

I got it. You think it’s defense of “democracy”. I feel for the Ruskies and Ukes involved in the war that want no part of it and we’re forced to be involved one way or another.

Now with that said, I give a who about the Ruskies or Ukes in comparison to U.S. citizens. The further it drags out It’s costing U.S. taxpayer money. I’m against that first and foremost and secondly nonsense death on both sides. What needs to happen for those two items to be successful. Deescalation and end of war which U.S. hasn’t done a single thing yet to help in that regard.

Generally I agree. But I also think had we not helped out the Ukrainian Armed Forces we'd be putting US troops on the ground in Poland and the Baltic states defending them due to NATO Article 5. This is cheaper in both financial and especially lives lost.

Get ready for Russia to get an influx of weapons on the ground now that Bout is back in the fold.
